Illustrating influences behind artist Lucy McKenna's work - the cosmos, the balance of the solar system and humanity’s constant attempts to reconcile how small we are in the face of such a vast universe. Working with scientists in space observatories and quantum physicists in CERN, her art also takes influence from growing up in the countryside in Ireland – the plants, flowers and underground networks of mushrooms that littered the fields.
